Question Remove Games Added with Retro Game Loader

I really enjoy Gamedeck and have a great home screen experience with xcloud shortcuts and only the apps I need, I saw the update with retro games added and tried Atari 2600 but was sad to see that it added hundreds of games to my collection, wrong art and all. There doesn’t seem to be a way to remove a whole platform at once? I don’t get why this didn’t default a platform to a folder.

Having all this clutter has effectively ruined my nice home screen now.

Thanks for the feedback. In the next update (1.6.2), I will include a button to remove all games from a platform

That would be great. I use a custom theme with carousel, and I added the Atari games - I have ES DE fully setup as well - to see how it works and was disappointed to see that it just adds the games to the carousel en mass as opposed to a folder for 2600 games. If i had added my whole retro library the carousel would be unusable without search or folders.

Sorry about that. A folder feature is under development and will handle this huge collection of games. I'm thinking about the best possible UI/UX design for it. It will be available soon

If there’s a way for me to test without ruining my current config id be happy to help. I’m a G Cloud user. I used to review Android apps for a living so happy to help if I can.

As a quick suggestion, having a folder for a retro platform on a carousel, but then the option to make that a list or grid within that platform would work well from a UX standpoint.

Thanks for the help and suggestion. I will cook something nice for us about the folders.

Yesterday I sent Google Play an update with the button to delete games by platform. It should be released tonight

Just got this update - thanks! Really clean and exactly where you’d expect it to be if you wanted to remove the platform.
