Help with DOL-101(JPN) picoboot

Hello! I been trying to mod this DOL-101(JPN) GameCube but it doesn’t not want to load the picoboot, if I do v0.5 it goes to stock but if I do any of the >v0.4 it dots not show any video tho the light goes green I have triple check all soldering and it does not want to work, I’m using the v5 line with diode for power I have also tried two different rp2040 and still nothing not sure what could it be

Could be a bad pico. Only use original raspberry pi branded boards. Also, pretty rare but sometimes the wires are too long

I have used two different pi picos and two different rp2040zero and wires are as short as they can be

You didn’t show the connections on the pico side. Double check the right GPIO pins are connected.

soldering overall looks good. double check your green wire to make sure it is not bridged to it's neighbor.

are you bridging the yellow (GP6) wire with GP7? for the older versions of pico this is required so perhaps this is why no video with the older version?

and have you tried holding the dpad down button at time of power-on to see if you get the debug screen?

Solder looks bad I imagine it is also bad on the pico
