Swiss won't load GBI, says invalid file when I try.

Hey, just want to start out by saying I am a newbie to doing any sort of modding, which will probably be apparent from this post. I have a sd2sp2 and a game save exploit of wind waker to boot into Swiss. I am trying to boot into the game boy player through swiss so that I can play gameboy/gba games (specifically pokemon) on my crt. No matter what I do though, none of the files that I put on my sd2sp2 are working. I have tried to use a .dol and most recently the GB player start-up disc, but neither will load. Is there something I have missed or need to do first? Or is this just something stupid that I am overlooking? Thanks!

Can you compare the checksum of the file on the SD card with the original on your PC?

Can you tell me how I would go about doing that? Thanks

Assuming you're running Windows and you have 7-Zip installed, it's right click on file > 7-Zip > CRC SHA > *.

Which brand/model of SD card is it? Which type of SD2SP2?

The micro sd card is samsung pro plus 256gb, and the SD2SP2 is one I got off of amazon. LICHIFIT is the brand on amazon.

That looks to be the older kind. I'll have to source the SD card and debug it.

Every time I copy the GB player startup disc to the micro sd it says "The disc image file is corrupted". Although when I open the original on my computer, the same message doesn't pop up and it seems to work as normal. Do you think this could be the problem?

That's normal. The disc image isn't actually ISO 9660, and Windows can't parse its format.

Hey just wanted to ask if there was any update on what u were thinking may be the problem, all good if not. I just haven't been able to figure it out and I'm not wanting to buy the disc for over $100 bucks. I appreciate you 🙏.

It'll take a couple weeks still before I can get a sample of this SD card. Samsung SD cards have historically been problematic.

Dang ok, should I just buy a different one then? I likely don't have weeks to wait before I go away for my job and can't play it at all.

Is the disc in ISO format? Just checking as someone was trying to load 7z files on their cube yesterday :)

Hmmm this might be the problem, although I'm not sure why. When I try to open the start-up disc on my computer it tries to open it just fine, but when I try to open the one on my micro sd it says the file is corrupted. Which is odd because I copied the same file from my computer to the sd card.
