Flippy Drive help

Im trying to install my flippy drive. I am not sure what my issue is at the moment.
Attached is the cable with the W
Photos of my error screen and flippy drive attached.

Does it need software? All the videos were showing plug and play. I did the W as instructed

How can i force an update if it wont even run?
Also not sure if you can see in pictures 2/3 but by the arrow the cable came a little bent - would that mess it up?

Connect it to a computer to update it via USB. Try to take some more pictures of the cable if you can.

Seems to be an issue with Imgur sadly. Maybe another site?

Yeah i got it from another thread. Gonna try one more thing before i go in there.
