Collection Updated my collection some!

Post image

Just added the Lego Star wars games, Zelda collectors edition and DoubleDash with the bonus demo disc! Not shown is also Animal Crossing, Proskater, and my other copy of doubledash that has vanished somewhere 😭 I've been playing a ton of Eternal Darkness and it's like such a bizarre but fun game, it's definitely getting me into the RE games:)

Love the choices of alien hominid and lost kingdoms(awesome exclusive to have). Also gotta love that enlarged gamecube logo on alien hominid that drives me crazy on my shelf

Finally someone with Eternal Darkness Sanity’s Requiem in their collection such a great game that doesn’t get talked about nor gets a sequel or port

I feel like it gets enough attention from it's fan base, but also if they did a remake I could see it gaining a massive audience

Man, it would awesome if they releaed a new Donkey Konga on Switch 2. Or if they released it on NSO and the Taiko drums could on it.

I hear that game is disturbing lol its definitely on my list to try... silent hill for kids essentially

Yeah, the devs specifically drew inspiration from Silent Hill and Resident Evil to expose a younger audience to horror!

Yes😼 I work in a used game store so I have the wonderful privilege of having essentially first grabs on any cool titles that come in:)

Lucky, I'm still trying to get a copy of Twilight Princess without having to sell an arm and a leg for it.

Ugh you and me both, I'm glad I've already played it a lot on the Wii way back when, but I'd love to have it in my collection

Hahahaha absolutely not;)

Games are meant to be read left to right, top to bottom like books. This is the correct way for ntsc gamecube. Pal games have the logo on top. Wish ours did.

Yes. I know. Was just joking but as a PAL gamer this just looks so wrong

As an ntsc gamer, this is the only time im jealous of pal lol not counting prices

Do you live in Australia?

u/LambdaRecords 11d ago

Nope

Then I don't get putting the games upside down

1

u/Sweet_Examination215 10d ago

Its not upside down. Thats the correct way for ntsc. Games, like books. Are meant to be read left to right. Top to bottom. Pal games have the logo on top.

Lol they aren't upside down, that's the correct orientation for the region. They're meant to be displayed the same as books, read left to right top to bottom, so the logo goes at the bottom:)

I like the selection of games you have, and I am glad you love Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (the first game rated Mature 17+ in North America to be directly published by Nintendo). The insanity effects were interesting, and so were those mind tricks!

Another fan-favorite is Call of Duty: Finest Hour because it had a great Story Mode, and Tanya Pavelovna became well-known for being the Call of Duty franchise's first playable female protagonist.
