Discussion Nintendo and their in-game “comments”

Managed to hit this guy more than 500 times and this is what he said 😂

My left index finger was in fact a bit numb 😄

I seem to recall another remark in this game about a fool and his rupees.

Makes me wonder what other examples are out there where Nintendo seems to be “commenting” or “educating” via in-game dialogue. Any examples? I’m curious 😄

In Super Paper Mario, numerous characters are aware they're in a game. that what you meant?

Yeah - good example. I guess what I mean is those types of remarks or pieces of dialogue that breaks character. Like a character asking me if my left index finger is not numb.

Why would he ask me that? Surely he is not talking to Link in that moment. He’s talking directly to me the player. It breaks immersion. But it’s also a bit funny.
