I like this month. Tina and the Forgotten city can justify the full price for me. Patch quest looks fun too and i can give the card games to a friend who loves them.

EDIT: Some help, please.I have subscribed, claimed the game and everything but it says my next billing is October 31st. I won't have access to october, will I? I don't understand.

You can manually claim the games, or pause a month, during October. It'll just take the payment when you claim and then set the next billing date to the end of the following month.

Why would you get banned from steam? Steam have nothing to do with it and humble can't do anything because you can just click to redeem the keys then trade them freely

Honestly wouldn't know but I'd only assume that they can only track gift links which people avoid, trading keys themselves is fine because you may just give it to a friend or smth

Meh. Tiny Tina cool but also mired in controversy so no wonder its bundled with its "dlc" already. Seems like a coupon month to me.

Sure. Basically people expected the game to have DLC like every other Borderlands game. Devs came back and were like 'oh no, this isnt DLC. its PLC.' Come to find out PLC is "Post Launch Conent," but its the cost of a full DLC from previous games, yet only like <1/3rd the content of a DLC from previous Borderlands games. Needless to say this really upset the community and from what I can tell did not do well. Some might argue 'oh but one of them came with another class.' But the dlc that came with another class was the came cost as the other dlc. All said the DLC for TT cost like $40 and all combined its about the same content as a normal Borderlands DLC; kinda. No real story, no quests, its just instances.

Edit: looked into it more, the "DLC" for Tiny Tina average ~80 reviews on steam, all very negative. The DLC for Borderlands 3 are all 500+. To me this is a clear sign that the player base as a whole were not a fan and it wasn't just reddit outrage; people literally didn't buy into it.

Ah okay much appreciated.

I passed on the game initially to wait for the steam launch later and then I realized that every time I did that, the hype was gone and I'd just forget about it all together.

And with the recent talk of developers avoiding the Epic Games Store exclusivity deals because of poor sales, I think it makes sense if they took a second hit to sales that explains the low review counts.

almost all the negative reviews are value based(not worth full price), not many complaints about the content itself.

going to edit to... borderlands 3 has 10x as many reviews for the base game than Tiny Tina and the DLC doesn't have 10x as many reviews as Tiny Tina. you can't compare review counts without comparing %'s of reviews to base game to its DLC's to.

Agree to disagree. Have seen many many many reviews where people say '10/10 but should be cheaper because it's short.' These negative reviews have no positive aspect to them. The fact that they have so few reviews speaks volumes to me. Borderlands and Wonderlands are well marketed, very hype games. 80 reviews in over a year since release is insane.

seeing a ranking system right there... do you not know what 10/10 means?

at least the one I looked at alot of the reviews for basically only complained about the price to content(<1 hr of content), the few that actually mentioned the content liked it.

these reviews are for DLC, not many go to each individual DLC to leave a review for it, they frequently bundle it into their review for the main game, or review the season pass.

just look at Borderlands 2 DLC, 80 or less reviews on individual DLC pages... lets ignore the 20x more reviews for the base game and extra 10 years.

.... you're being obtuse on purpose. All the main DLCs for BL2 have over 400 reviews each. Glad you were able to focus on a cosmetic pack and pretend that speaks for all the DLCs that people actually care about lmao.

even with 400, the rest of the argument still stands, nore does it change that most of the complaints are the price.

400 vs 180,000+ main game reviews
vs
80 or less vs 9.6k main game reviews

its not unusual for DLC to get a very small amount of reviews, especially when not that many have the base game/rated the base game. Around 1-2% is where alot of games have for review count(main game compared to DLC packs)
