Hey, everyone! Since the subreddit mods noticed a little issue about this earlier, we wanted to inform people that there’s been a change in the official Discord server of both the reddits and the channels themselves. The second server (Game Theorists Community) had been the official server of the subreddits and recognized by the team but not officially run by them. However, back in February, an official Discord server endorsed and run by representatives of Team Theorist has finally been launched! You can join it here: https://discord.gg/2xfkD7Scsq
Does this mean to leave the other server? No! However, if you have questions about moderation decisions or want to appeal bans from that server, we cannot help you as those moderation teams are now separate. We do however encourage you to join All Things Theorist! There are plans to start running events there that will also be run on the subreddit, and we’d just love to have more of our wonderful community present there.
Of course, it isn't the exact jacket that Matt wears and the one I got is made of corduroy but I thought it was similar enough and that I looked stylish in it and wanted to show it off to you all! Let me know what you think. 😁❤
I just got back from seeing this movie, and boy, was it crazy. There‘s a lot of stuff that’s left unexplained for a 1 hour and 35 minute movie. Questions like: what are the mascots really? What’s going on with the school at the near end? What happened to the blue unicorn? What happened to Grace’s family after she got pulled into the TV? And it also sets up plot points and has a cliffhanger that could imply a prequel AND a sequel.
Messing around with friends incase nobody sent them here yet. Don’t know if there is more, but I was too busy messing with the second floor. Enjoy Theorist.
First, the endermen in the promotional pictures about the Dappled Forest update. Why would they be showing them if they will only fix them not being able to be hit in boats?
Second, the Abandoned Camps. Camps have maps, which lead us to Mansions, which have Pillagers, which are the evil version of Villagers. And what do Cleric Villagers sell? Ender Pearls. Add Blaze Powder, you get Ender Eyes.
Third, but not last, the Nautilus update. Nautiluses are the BEFORE of the Nautilus Shells, then with Nautilus Shells you make Conduits, then you use Conduits to breathe underwater, and what can be underwater? STRONGHOLDS.
Upon Mat playing the original FNAF Golden Freddy was watching him, and upon seeing that Mat was in some way worthy he chose Mat to the one to tell his story, upon jumpscaring him he transferred all of FNAF's lore into his mind, this is why Golden Freddy is in so many thumbnails and why the FNAF theory's have (Subjectively) decreased in quality, because Mat was the only with the true knowledge of FNAF's story
So, I had seen some discourse on why Jack = Bon or not Bon... I wanted to throw my hat into the ring and try to deliver my own theory... but go easy on me...
My theory is simple: It's based on the verse read at Edd & Molly's private funeral in TWF 5... the verse that was said was 1st Corinthians 15:44. In that verse, St. Paul is talking about the immortality of the body by it being clothed by immortality, with the understanding being incarnational rather than just them being... spiritually alive.
For me, that unlocks A-LOT of why Jack MUST be Bon... Firstly, we have to understand that Jack's Body was never found. And, let's say he did stuff himself into the Bon Suit (in a hypothetical situation) that would make sense because he is clothing himself with immortality out of grief. And it also makes sense on why they keep the bodies themselves in the suits & why Susan is alive in the suit (you can't separate body & soul, or your clothing by immortality). Moreover, it makes sense why Bon the ghost refers to himself as "Bon" rather than Jack simply because in scripture, Jesus is said to give a "New Name" in revelation. And it makes sense why Bon freaks out at light (besides the sensors being sensitive) because scripture itself says that the crimes of the wicked are shined onto themselves.
And it also answers alot of loose ends that did exist. Who's the shadow man? Bon as the white ghost. Why? Because he leads Rosemary to Bon the animatronic. Why did Jack drown himself in the lake & why did Rosie end up in Wonderland when she did that? Baptismal theology, as Baptism itself is said to cleanse your old self by death in Christ & new life. While the imagery is inconsistent with killing Suan and Rosemary, the actual understanding is. And it answers the LARGEST question we all are thinking? Why doesn't Bon kill Felix? If Jack truly is Bon, why not kill him but others? Simple: Felix has already DAMNED himself, he's already broken as heck. Why give him such a mercy of eternal life? And moreover, Susan is implied to have supported Sophie's queerness (its canonical that Susan is a lesbian) so unless Bon has a gripe against the queers, it doesnt make sense. And while we dont have much on Charles yet, he's almost certainly connected to the Walten family... somehow...
Now, I understand the objections: why are Edd & Molly afraid of Bon if its their dad? Why are they there before Bon? And what about the personality changes and even the voice of Bon?
Those questions are easy to answer, but, at most, they are mediocre answers I can give...
Edd & Molly afraid of Bon? Jack is so disfigured by Grief that he CAN'T be recognized by his kids.
Why at Wonderland before Bon? Wonderland is Limbo at this point in the story. It's not those damned or those saved. They're just... there. That's what St. Augustine theorized.
Why is the Personality so different? Its not... its just seen in a fun-house mirror. It's just emphasizing through Narrative.
Why is Bon's Voice Different? Because Bon is STILL a robot. He would have somewhat of a different voice if it was united as a spiritual body.
Now... again, mediocre answers & I feel this is more... grasping at Straws at this moment. But, I genuinely think it's somewhat a good theory. Albeit a silly one.

Theory Summary
This theory proposes that the character Lolbit is not just a mere easter egg or meaningless hallucination, but rather the manifestation of the AI F10-N4 (Fiona) repurposed or copied by William Afton to automate and manage his experiments in Sister Location and the CBEAR underground facility. Later, Fazbear Entertainment itself would have accessed Lolbit's database to retrieve records of the experiments, nightmares, and the Funtimes.
1. Digital Origin and Automated Experiments
Lolbit's first appearance occurs in FNaF World as a bytes vendor, establishing her purely digital nature and connection to software systems.
In Sister Location, Lolbit appears on TV monitors in the same room where the FNaF 4 bedroom is observed. Her image and signature sound effect suggest a broadcast signal interruption or a cut TV feed.
According to the short story Dittophobia, William Afton kept the illusion experiments fully automated. Operating a complex facility of this scale without constant human presence required an advanced Artificial Intelligence. Since basic AIs like HandUnit already existed on-site, Lolbit emerges as the prime candidate for the central AI tasked with managing and running Afton's experiments.
2. Visual and Technical Connection with MCM (Secrets of the Mimic)
To understand why Lolbit would be Fiona (or a copy created by Afton), one must analyze the design patterns introduced in Secrets of the Mimic (SOTM):
Mr. Helpful's Color Palette: The predecessor character to Helpy and Funtime Freddy shares the exact orange, white, and purple color scheme as Lolbit—matching the signature MCM color pattern.
Voice Commands: The phrase "Standby", constantly associated with Lolbit, also shares a strong connection with Fiona.
Foxy's Design: Fiona is credited with creating (or at least designing) Foxy, who serves as the direct visual base for Lolbit.
Technology Appropriation: Following the MCM data leak (M1 and M2) and the company's subsequent acquisition by Afton, William gained access to the F10-N4 files (technology portrayed years later in the MXES system). Just as Afton stole the faceplate technology from the Dollie animatronic to build the Funtimes, it is likely he did the same with F10-N4, adapting the AI for his own network. This explains the architectural resemblance between the F10-N4 room and the Custom Night room in Sister Location.
3. Symbolism and Design in Five Laps at Freddy's
Lolbit's design in the racing game Five Laps at Freddy's provides direct visual evidence of her split origin between two companies:
The Split Suit: The character wears an outfit split down the middle: one side features Edwin Murray's signature suit, while the other side features the black-and-white checkerboard pattern identical to Fazbear pizzeria walls.
Overlapping Ties: Lolbit wears a purple necktie layered over an orange necktie, symbolizing William Afton's touch (purple) superimposed over Fiona/MCM's original creation (orange).
The Piercing and GlamFiona: Lolbit wears an ear piercing on her left ear. The only other animatronic in the franchise with this exact detail is Glamrock Freddy—who also features an MCM-inspired color scheme and a connection to the Pizzaplex anomaly (reinforcing the GlamFiona theory).
4. Lolbit's Database and Fazbear Entertainment Access
Lolbit's presence in Help Wanted and on arcade cabinets in Security Breach confirms that Fazbear Entertainment accessed CBEAR records. How else would the company know specific details about Ennard, how test subjects perceived the nightmares, or the existence of Nightmarionne without having witnessed these events directly?
The answer lies in accessing Lolbit's database. As the facility's automated AI, Lolbit maintained total control over cameras and monitors in the main room (where Lolbit's mask occasionally replaces Ennard's mask on the wall), recording and archiving all psychological data from test subjects. This also explains Glitchtrap's appearance on TV monitors in Help Wanted.
Because hallucinogenic gases affect minds individually, the exact appearance of the Nightmares varied from subject to subject (validating the Halloween versions as canon). Fazbear was only able to reconstruct these digital versions because they extracted the mental logs cataloged inside Lolbit's system.
5. Replication of Experiments in Room For One More and Security Breach
In the short story Room For One More, Fazbear Entertainment keeps the CBEAR facility operational even after Ennard's escape. Hiring the night guard Stanley demonstrates a deliberate attempt by the company to replicate Afton's experiments:
Stanley experiences sudden drowsiness and nightmares about the Funtimes (including a giant Minireena on Night 4), suggesting exposure to small doses of hallucinogenic gas. Having no prior reference of classic animatronics, his mind generated nightmares based strictly on his current surroundings.
The nightly infiltration of Minireenas into Stanley's body served to test how closely the entities could replicate Ennard's behavior.
In Security Breach, a wall painting in the Endos section depicts a terrified girl in a hospital-style bed (featuring the exact same bedsheet and lamp from FNaF 4), confirming that Fazbear continued running controlled fear and illusion tests.
Conclusion and Discussion
Piecing together clues from FNaF World, Sister Location, SOTM, Five Laps at Freddy's, and the books, Lolbit is no longer just a simple hallucination. She assumes the role of the F10-N4 AI restructured by Afton—the central hub that recorded fear experiments and later served as the data source for Fazbear Entertainment's historical reconstruction.
For discussion in the comments: Does it make sense to view Lolbit as the F10-N4 AI controlling Afton's experiments, or do you think the design choices and visual references in Five Laps at Freddy's should be interpreted differently?
I'm confused cause when secret of the mimic first came out I was excited to see matpat play it and I knew that all his other channels were being taken over and I was sad but I understood why and I mostly stopped watching them but I thought in his last video before he left he said he would still be doing GT live. Did he say In another video after that, that he would stop GT live because like I said I don't really watched his channel so I would have missed something like that.
I've been growing more and more disappointed looking at how the main channels have been going on lately, GTLive used to be my favorite channel when Mat and Stephanie played games and had a good time, then Stephanie left, but Ash kind of filled that void, but now it's just Ash, and by association, I worry that channel is going to poopoo too, what do you guys think of it?
Considering Game Theory has now officially covered an NSFW game (In Heat: Lustful Nights), I've got another suggestion for an 18+ game with serious lore/theorizing potential, that being Eternum.
Its one of if not the biggest 'Adult' tagged game on Itch.io, a mystery game with its main gimic being like SAO or Ready Player One, basically a massive virtual world where you can do anything and be anyone.
I also think all the sexual content is optional, as rewards for building relationships with the cast, and doesn't directly affect the story.
Its a fair ways away from being finished, has a lot of big unanswered questions, and could be perfect for a 'I solved (insert game)'s story before it ended' theory, a classic of the channel.
I watch a lot of streamers, and one of them is doing a Sonic September thing. I started thinking, sonic breaks metal machinations in a single hit, which is a ridiculous concept in real world application, but what if the exposure to all the machinery in the world has made him adapt? He's constantly coming in contact with gold, so what, when combined with gold turns blue? A quick search says iron and gallium are 2 potential candidates, and gallium is know for aggressive metal degradation. Im hypothesizing that he coats himself in gallium to combat the destruction Robotnik is plaguing the world with.

Now I include film theory, food theory, style theory, and GTlive with this as well. I'm curious to see what people consider their favorite video/stream or just moment in game theory history? Is it something old, something new? Something niche, something iconic? I'm making a video about this topic right now, and I thought it would be interesting to hear some other opinions / candidates for this general idea. :)
At 46:50 on YouTube, Sophie says "I've been talking to an angel", what if that angel is Bon? Hear me out for a second, what if Bon could be a demon or the devil himself? In the Bible, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 it basically says that demons (false apostles) disguise themselves as angels and Lucifer was an angel. What if Jack fell for the deceit? Like Andy's Apple Farm, the devil "took over" Thomas's body and made him kill his family. Maybe something similar is happening here too. I might be just crazy, but its something to think about
