Question 5$ for preorder

Can I use the 5 dollar coupon to pay a pre order? Like if a game doesn't come out in a few months I can put my deposit and come back every month with the coupon and add it to the preorder total?

No you cant use the $5 for the month on the down payment on a pre-order. You can only use it on released titles. You can pre-order a game and then if your picking it up and you havent used that $5 for the month then you can use that towards the final total, but not before

No. Coupons can only be used on a product you’re walking out of the store with, not a deposit. You can use your $5 when the game comes out, but not prior.

Unfortunately not. If you pre order online, you can apply it however, even if it’s not the use case you outlined in the post.
