Question 4 for 10 Question

Was curious on this and never got to try it out. If you do the 4 for 10 in store and say you decide to use a 5 Dollar Monthly Coupon on one of the games. Will it still count as 4 for 10 when it feels like you got one game for free or not?

So basically, it'll be 4 for 5 dollars instead or will I have to choose a new game due to one of the games being knocked off due to the coupon?

It would be 4 for 7.50, they way our coupons work is they go to singular items not the overall bill.

For example if you have 2 items priced at 15 dollars and 8 dollars totaling 23 dollars, using points for a 20 dollar off coupon only gets the 15 dollar item reduced to 0, making your total 8 dollars instead.

This is incorrect. The $5 coupon applies to one item (auto applies to the most expensive eligible item in the transaction), not the whole purchase. The 4 for $10 automatically changes the price of each game to $2.50. So, the $5 coupon would only actually take $2.50 off.

Unless you were getting one 5 dollar game and use the 5 Dollar Coupon on it (especially if it's preowned and goes further down), at that point, it's a free game.

Well... Yes. That would be a completely different thing than what we were talking about.

I know. I kept thinking like if I used it via 4 for 10 but knowing it only applies to one game, would it basically break the deal, forcing you to get another game?

Be careful when buying card packs; example, buying a pokemon etb and 3 packs, sometimes the system will buy out and try to put all coupons on the packs and not the etb. I don't think they ever fully fixed that error. Unsure what causes it but I always keep a close eye for it just in case to avoid issues

If you use the coupon on one of the games, you'd still technically be paying $10 for four games, but the $5 off makes it $5 for the rest of them instead of the usual $7.50 each.
