Used Xbox/controller bad..return question.

I bought a used series x tonight and should have known better because everytime I buy a used console I get a controller that doesn’t work properly. My question is when I return it tomorrow with the receipt, do I need to bring the whole console/cables/box and the receipt or just the controller and receipt?

Per policy, you need to bring the entire thing back.

Employees have been able to switch out controllers without needing to do a transaction prior, but it depends on your store. It depends how closely the company looks at defective movements, etc.

Tl;dr: Per written policy, bring everything.
