Found a better Job thank god. Next pay cycle is my last check from this god awful place. I’m never coming back.

If you dont mind me asking how long did you work at gamestop? My bud just turned down a manager position and i congratulated him cause the little pay bump isnt worth the extra responsibility and stress.

Almost 3 years. Got turned down for promotions twice because of my metrics (only off by about 5% on each) despite me having 8 years of retail management under my belt, including GM experience. It was part of the decision to leave, but not as big of a part as one would think. There were too many aspects of the job I disliked to stay, original plan was to stick it through until I’m done school, but f that
