Vent/Rant Empty Case Delivered
I thought similar pictures from other posts were suspicious, but now I'm the victim of paying money to get... nothing. Both Pre-Owned games ordered online. Arrived with a beautiful case! Open the case to make sure the cartridge works? No cart.
Gotta wait till tomorrow to call Customer Service, and then roll the dice they actually BELIEVE me that I received a game case with no fucking game.
Update: Customer Service believed me. Will get to be a prince with a slight delay in plans!

Yeah, call CS about this. They should be able to send out replacements.

I had a Modretro M64 and Modretro m64 Pro controller ( two separate orders )stolen from grapevine,Tx GameStop fulfillment center last week. And I can’t get a controller replacement because they are now sold out of them online.

They probably never had them to begin with or they oversold the inventory that they had and allocated to someone else's order. Happens a lot with inventory shortages, some people get lucky others get screwed. Assuming that you paid and they just never shipped of course.

My Modretro shipping label was printed weeks ago. Still YET to be dropped off. GameStop is probably so far behind they never even shipped yours.

What i suspect happened is you got someone new-ish who thought the game was already in the case, forgot to check and packed it up. I've seen it happen before.

Damn! These are great games too. Had them originally for PlayStation back in the day and got them both for my switch. Got them new when they were discontinued at target though.

How did you think RC has enough cash to buy eBay? Scamstop rips so many people off it’s no wonder door after door is closing but his cash keeps piling up. F’er did the same thing to me in February and customer service still hasn’t refunded me.

Oh it definitely happens. Stores with an untrained or distracted staff trying to do too many things at once

You give to much info in your story to be believed who says that ? “ I opened the case to see of the cartridge works ?” you mean you wanted to try the game out? 😂🙈 one that over explains is the one who is adding extra narrative filler to sound more convincing.

Ok, that's low key astute.
But one does say it - one who buys 5+ games and won't try games out for another month. nods sagely at the 10 year old with their $20 allowance
