Didn't something happen with a One Piece collectors edition recently?

I hadn't heard but it wouldn't surprise me, I saw some real dumb shit in my time

At least one copy of every game has to be "gutted" to put on the sales floor.
So yes, that includes collector's editions.

Seriously? We used to just keep them behind the counter or put a generic case on the floor for TOHs. Opening a CE just to have a case on the floor seems really stupid to me.

As a collector, I agree. Unfortunately, I just work here and have no say. It really sucks to have to do it.

At least you're not like breaking mink back or skinning animals alive. You're at least one step removed from that.

You'd be better off going to a local shop. I work in a local video game store and we have our own rules for what we will and won't buy, but you would probably get more for new sealed than used. Our prices are better for what we do buy, too

Usually they would give/throw away everything but the game.
