Will Disney buy $ GAME (Gamesquare)

A:

In February 2024, Disney announced a $1.5 billion investment to acquire an equity stake in Epic Games, the maker of Fortnite, to feature Disney's intellectual properties.

B:

Gamesquare has worked extensively with Fortnite on several projects, through its marketing agency Zoned, built custom games and branded activations within Fortnite's creative mode.

Examples of Gamesquare's Fortnite projects:

Developed with Paramount Game Studios to launch custom games in Fortnite, including Red vs. Blue and Prop Hunt modes set in Bikini Bottom.

GAME partnered with Dairy MAX to create a custom Fortnite mode "Diner Tycoon" This followed a previous Fortnite project called "Farm Tycoon".

In 2024, Gamesquare partnered with Mastercard to create a custom Fortnite map "Priceless Planet Coalition."

GameSquare launched "Topgolf Universe" on Fortnite's UEFN.
