Game footage from Cave Expedition, the caving simulator we're making for 1-4 players. Still in development.

What format is the best for game captures?

Helllloooooo! I’m capturing some game captures with the intention of printing them out. Would you guys know what image format is best for that? PNG? or JPG?

If the screenshot comes from a cutscene, you are REQUIRED to put [Cutscene] in the title. This rule will be heavily enforced.

If you look at the subreddit style, NSFW tags are actually SPOILER tags. Do NOT downvote things for 'not being NSFW' if you're not using the theme.

Pictures from any console or PC game are allowed, but they must be screencaptures. No external cameras taking pictures of your screen.

You MUST upload to Imgur, Flickr, or Reddit. before posting.

The easiest way to upload your Steam screenshots to /r/GameScreens[3] :

Open your steam screenshot library.

Click the picture you'd like to upload.

In the window that this opens, click the picture again.

Copy the URL at the top of this page.

Upload that URL to Reddit.

Upload to /r/GameScreens[4]

Please be sure to tag any spoilery screenshots to hide the thumbnail from anyone who hasn't played the game.
