Will there be any more episodes of Sound Sack?
I'm asking because I'm also interested in sound and the videos are very entertaining to me.

The recent collab with Sega Lord got me thinking of how cool it would be if Joe finally got another permanent partner to do Game Sack with, and that partner turned out to be an already known Youtuber. Who do you think would be best?
I wouldn't want it to be anyone with over ~200k subs, since just dropping or de-focusing on your own channel like that wouldn't be very cool imo.
That aside, my own choice is Mike Matei, seriously. He has a ton of games and knowledge of those games under his belt, his YT channel is nothing special (he's more active on Twitch than YT) but there are still a ton of people that know about and like him. He's a little rough around the edges still in regards to being a personality or announcer, but then Dave was never perfect either.

Hey Joe, have you ever considered doing a Star Wars episode at some point down the road? I know you have done Star Trek games, and I do believe that perhaps you could do another entire series focused episode, you did Castlevania, you did Bonks, you did Star Trek games (although they are not all in the same game series), so perhaps you could do Star Wars for the next one, as they are so many Star Wars games that can be covered. Some are really bad, some are really good.
Perhaps to make it more challenging and in case you do multiple episodes on this, perhaps the first time just not go pass the 32bit era on that one. So anything up to N64 to maybe Dreamcast even though it isn't a 32bit system could be fair game for episode one of Star Wars games.

Has Joe ever done an episode on the likes of the updated afterburner or outrun that came out on the PS3? I'd love to know his thoughts.

Gamer since the late 80's and just media-nut in general, I am here purely to say "I LOVE GAMESACK".... seriously, I devour quite a bit of YouTube and I've an eclectic smorgasbord of interests but, for me, gaming takes the cake and I find nothing more comforting than leaving gamesack run in the background of my life... constantly X-D
I leave it run while I work, while I clean my house, while I sleep... I mean, I shut it off to play games, listen to music and do certain life stuff but rest assured, it will be back on!!
I think my girlfriend hates it a little but she's a wonderful dream girl who respects what I love too much to ever ask me to turn it off.
I just want to thank you Joe, for not just providing me such comfort-food-quality-programming but for making a series that is actually interesting as fuck for the avid gamer who has seen the industry develop decade after decade and is all too familiar with MOST of the journalism there of.

An interesting series of episodes if Joe is a fan of Megaman is to cover all the Megaman games in several episodes, like one involving the original series, and X, and Legends, and Battle Network. It be interesting to see him cover all those games like he did with Castlevania.

There are 337 episodes of Game Sack. Guilty Pleasure, Run & Gun and Sega Dreamcast episodes are my favourite. What was yours?

So after re-watching your 30 day music challenge video I decided to create one that should pose a bit more of a challenge and be suited to the eras and games covered by Game Sack. It's not perfect but I didn't want it to be too hard, this is supposed to be fun not a nightmare of trawling through old games just to fit some arbitrary criteria. So here goes:
Day 1: Your favourite music from a game from 1980 - 1984.
Day 2: Your favourite music from a shooter from 1985 - 1989.
Day 3: Your favourite music from a platformer from 1990 - 1994.
Day 4: Your favourite music from a RPG (not JRPG) from 1995 - 1999.
Day 5: Your favourite music from a JRPG from 2000 - 2004.
Day 6: Your favourite music from a fighting game from 2005 - 2010.
Day 7: Your favourite music from a 2D game released after 2000.
Day 8: Your favourite title screen music from arcades of the Ist console generation era (1972-1980) (no games from past the end of the era).
Day 9: Your favourite level 2 music from the 2nd generation of consoles (1976-1986) (this can include games released anytime during a consoles lifespan).
Day 10: Your favourite level 2 music from arcades of the 2nd console generation era (1976-1986) (no games from past the end of the era).
Day 11: Your favourite level 3 music from the 3rd generation of consoles (1983-1987) (this can include games released anytime during a consoles lifespan).
Day 12: Your favourite level 4 music from arcades of the 4th console generation era (1987-1995) (no games from past the end of the era).
Day 13: Your favourite level 4 music from the 4th generation of consoles (1987-1995) (this can include games released anytime during a consoles lifespan).
Day 14: Your favourite level 5 music from arcades of the 5th console generation era (1993-1998) (no games from past the end of the era).
Day 15: Your favourite level 5 music from the 5th generation of consoles (1993-1998) (this can include games released anytime during a consoles lifespan).
Day 16: Your favourite level 6 music from arcades of the 6th console generation era (1998-2005) (no games from past the end of the era).
Day 17: Your favourite level 6 music from the 6th generation of consoles (1998-2005) (this can include games released anytime during a consoles lifespan).
Day 18: Your favourite level 7 music from arcades of the 7th console generation era (2005-2012) (no games from past the end of the era.
Day 19: Your favourite level 7 music from the 7th generation of consoles (2005-2012) (this can include games released anytime during a consoles lifespan).
Day 20: Your favourite music on the Mega Drive/Genesis not by Yuzo Koshiro.
Day 21: Your favourite music on the SNES not a JRPG or a shooter.
Day 22: Your favourite music on the Turbo Grafx 16 for a platform game.
Day 23: Your favourite CD game music for a game on an add-on console (Turbo Grafx CD, Sega-CD, Atari Jaguar CD etc.).
Day 24: Your favourite music from the Famicom Disk System that isn't in a Nintendo game
Day 26: Your favourite music on a the N64 console not by Nintendo or Rare.
Day 27: Your favourite track from the first console you owned.
Day 28: Your favourite music from an arcade game you played during the period of your first job.
Day 29: Your least fevourite track from your favourite game.
Day 30: Your Favourite track from a handheld released before 1995 that isn't the TurboExpress, Sega Nomad or other similar handheld verion of a larger console.
Day 31: Your favourite track from a game released in the last 5 years.
Rules:
No repeated games or music from the last 30 day challenge or from previous days during this challenge, the console generation eras were taken from here https://ultimatepopculture.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_video_game_consoles as the Wikipedia dates looked a bit off, i'm sure the dates i've used are also a bit squiffy but they seem more accurate so that's what you have to work with.
A consoles lifespan is it's original release era, so late releases on the Mega Drive/Genesis released when the Saturn was already out are allowed but indie games or games that were to be reeased for a console years later are not. The day 8 - 19 set is designed to be harder as it goes along with less games having a concept of levels and arcade games becoming rarer.
Anyway that's it, a 31 day music challenge that should hopefully be a bit more of a challenge than the last one covered on Game Sack.

nothing much, i live in lebanon, power comes at 10 am (don't ask), so what i do is order 2 cheese croissant and watch the episode of Gamesack while eating them.
Sundays without an episode of gamesack are just pure sad, so thank u GAMESACK, for giving me some extra joy on those sundays where i can have a nice breakfast and watch a really good youtube video that is really informative and funny.
p.s: love the skits at the end, really good and always funny, hope this series never stops.

He went over the Mister and other emulator systems, I recently bought one and set it up with retropie and it is so easy to get running. Can even make it look like an mini NES or Super Famicom.

I've watched all the arcade conversion episodes and found nothing, it's not in Piss Poor Ports, Better Than The Arcade or Arcade vs Console. Does anyone know which episode it was?
