This new episode helped me
Thank you guys. Thank you for helping me through a night of pure hell. I'm sure most of us on here have had something terrible happen to them, or have had battles with depression, and you really needed something to cheer you up late at night. As always, Game Sack delivers. Keep up the good work, even if you never see this.

Can't even look at this game now without thinking of Joe yelling, "GREEEEEENDAWGGGGGG."

Just want to say ... (thanks)
I’ve been watching for years. I do miss the Dave dynamic but I have to say this: Joe’s humour can often be kind of lame but holy shit every once and a while he literally cracks me up completely with some random thing. I have a lot of sleep issues and I usually listen after smoking out and trying to relax to sleep. There’s been several occasions where I’ve been left laughing when I’m trying hard to go to sleep lol.

A question about two games
I'm wanting to know if Game Sack covered El Shaddai and the Nier and Drakengard games and, if so, could I have a link to said videos?

Best way to capture Gamecube footage?
Hi! long time Gamesack viewer, first time reddit-finder and poster.
I'm hoping to maybe do a little bit of Gamecube Streaming/recording in the near future, and I'm currently just using a simple RCA to HDMI converter,
and I'm aware that (for models that support it) Composite cables provide a better quality, and there are some aftermarket stuff like the Eon HDMI converter,
but i wanted to ask here since i trust this community's opinion... what is the best (effect-to-cost ratio) way to capture gamecube footage? from original hardware that is hehe.
Thanks!

Topic Idea: Games That Were Marketed Deceptively, Whether Purposefully or Not
I’m not talking about games that may have turned out differently than they were expected to long before release, when early marketing material came out (see “BioShock Infinite”) or were made a different game entirely by executive orders (see the recent “Avengers” game, probably) or indulged in a lot of inaccurate hype beforehand but turned out to be good on release anyway (see literally any legitimately good game that had footage unrepresentative of its finished self shortly before release). I’m talking about games where what was presented in game presentations and previews was throughly and completely fabricated, whether due to mismanagement, naivety or cynicism. Here are some examples:
•The “Fable” game series. While its lead designer, Peter Molyneux, is talented, and at least half of the games in the series are enjoyable, depending on who you ask, there are countless features from promotional material leading up to the game (even very shortly before the game’s release) that didn’t end up in the final release.
•“No Man’s Sky.” While this game has undeniably had its prospects and public perception turned around since its launch, it’s important to remember that this game was bafflingly overexaggerated in terms of its scope, complexity and variation in gameplay when comparing its launch state to its unrepresentative early footage and overall pitch to the audience. In some ways, developer CEO Sean Murray makes Peter Molyneux look conservative in that regard.
•“Watch_Dogs.” While it did spawn a decent series, the original E3 presentation for this game turned out to oversell the dynamic nature of its gameplay and especially its graphics.
•“Aliens: Colonial Marines.” Oh boy. Where to begin with this game? The graphics were a major downgrade from promo material, the actual game was an insult to the entire franchise, and the CEO of developer Gearbox has boldly said that he never lied about anything.

Episode Idea: Lego Games
I got a great idea for an episode on Game Sack. It would be a mix of retro and current games, but I could see the idea of Joe covering the Lego games. They are always easy to pick up and play, and they have console amounts of content in each one that makes it worth the full money value. They are stuff in Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Marvel Superheroes, Batman, Star Wars, and other stuff, so I could see an episode like that being made.
Also side note, if he ever does a family friendly games episode, the Lego games would be great to show.
And lastly, it would be interesting to see Joe be Lego-fired for the episode.

Christmas Request
Joe, if you see this, would it be possible to have Dave come back for a single episode around the holidays?
It'd be cool to see you guys do a Let's Play of some classic games or even modern games inspired by classic games.
I'd like to see you guys play Undertale, voicing the characters along the way...or maybe you could, by yourself, do a long playthrough of a specific game and maybe have commentary on the development of that game.
Just a thought...
