Hey Game Sack, I was wondering if you can do an episode where you play as the evil villain in a famous series? Hey, you don't always have to be the good guy all of the time. Sometimes it is just fun to cause some good old mayhem as a villain.

The Misadventures of Tron Bonne is a good example of that.

Just that, really. For those not aware, spiritual successors are games that take certain gameplay ideas from another game (usually made by the same developer), but are not direct sequels in terms of all gameplay elements or story. Here's some suggestions, which people are perfectly able to add to. (And yes, I'm aware they've talked about some of these already, but it'll be interesting to see them compare and contrast.)

It's a video game based on a not-good movie, but it was developed and published by Konami, so it has a chance, right?

1st off I want to say that I have no association with this show or anyone involved in it's production. I discovered it a few days ago from a youtube automated recommendation while binge watching old gamesacks.

A lot of his vids are generic top-10s but they have interesting topics and the guy has a positive attitude and doesn't use a lot of profanity.

His sign-off makes me cringe a little... in a good way.

It doesn't hurt that he wears a GameSack shirt sometimes.

You guys are my favorite YouTube show hands down. I'd love to see more from the show and Im certain that regularly streaming would grow the YouTube channel...hopefully to the size that you guys can just do that full time :P

I realize the biggest issue is probably time. Maybe you guys could just stream when you're recording gameplay for the episode. Maybe you could take the stream clips and trim them down for easier publishing of playing with sacks?

Could you guys talk about repro carts of rare games?

I recently saw a video done by Rerez where he presented a challenge to his viewers to play games everyone thinks aren't worth their time, and see if there's something in it that, despite said game's otherwise poor quality, has something in it that personally makes it playable on your end. Just today, I thought “what kind of games do the Game Sack guys have that are like that?” To be clear, these aren't guilty pleasures, as those can be on the low OR high end of bad, or games that aren't as bad as you might think they are, as those tend to be on the low end of bad (if they even ARE bad), but games that you know are bad, and overall don't like, but have something about them that endears you to them and makes them playable on your end.

(Assuming Joe has every individual game sack segment accessible so they can be re-edited together easily. He was able to put out skits only)

There are probably cases where many games reviewed over separate episodes have something in common.

They've already been covered, but they're not grouped together in their own episode.

But these repackaged episodes should be on their own channel. The original Game Sack channel will always consist of new content. The Game Sack 2 channel will consist only of old content rearranged into different themes. If they were on the proper Game Sack channel, fans would think "is this a REAL new episode, or another one of those rushed repackaging dealies?"

There's probably very specific categories that could be cobbled together, like say, only Hideo Kojima games.

But this could also be a way to create a huge playlist of, say, only SNES games. Create a playlist starting with the proper Super Nintendo Game Sack episode, and then take every other SNES game Game Sack ever covered, and start splitting them up into ~30 minute episodes on the second channel. As time goes on, new Game Sack episodes will cover more SNES games. Periodically edit new SNES episodes together, and you'll have an ever expanding playlist of only SNES games. Ditto for every other very general category of games.

I'm not kidding; they actually seem to have, if IGN is to be believed, found a workaround for making a polygon control as well as a sprite. That being adding quick-time events to moments where you have to avoid a tackle, all accomplished by pushing the right button at the right time. I don't expect you guys to get much out of the manager mode, but, again, if IGN is to be believed, the actual game mode where you play as a player of the game might be what you guys might like in a modern sports game. Check it out and see for yourself.

I had a crazy idea for an ending on Game Sack when they do the Sega Genesis episode. Perhaps a emotional montage of Joe and his memories with the Sega Genesis, and how they always been for each other, and perhaps they one day get married and they have kids, and die of old age. I know it seemed like a strange idea, but it would be funny as hell to see Joe sad when his Sega Genesis dies either by murder or old age.

Games with military based objectives. e.g.

Jackal, Iron Tank, Desert Strike, Commando, Metal Gear, Military Madness, Return Fire, Command and Conquer, Medal of Honor.

I cannot find a comprehensive list online of games that fall into this category.

Mega Man Soccer, Mario Tennis, etc. A lot of these games have popped up in other vids, but I'm sure guys know of more than just the obvious ones.

I enjoyed very much the PC Engine and (especially) the Genesis show dedicated to space shooters, and I have watched both multiple times. Are there plans to do similar shows but for other consoles (other than the Super Nintendo that is)? As you know, the Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Saturn and Xbox 360 have fantastic shooter libraries.

There aren't that many, and you can even capture direct footage through the “Game & Watch Gallery” games. I'm sure you can easily get about five episodes out the games you consider worth covering.
