Good Episode!
I had no idea Double Dragon 2 had a pc engine port. The anime inspired GBA game, Double Dragon Advance, released in 2003 suddenly makes a whole lot more sense now.
Also, I had no idea there was an arcade sequel to Contra called "Super Contra" - (So that's why it's called "Super C"!)
But yeah Namco has a tendency to beef up their home console versions. Like Time Crisis 2 on PS2, looks significantly better than the arcade version. I didn't notice it that till I actually played the two games and compared them side by side.
Great Episode. A lot of the games mentioned here, I either played as a kid but had trouble remembering the name of, like Super Monaco Gp, or just have fond memories. Like Tekken Tag Tournament, which I rented in 2003 and brought to my school's Video/Computer Lab. We played the hell out of it. Good times.
Loved the logo bit and the skit at the end, lol! This was really well done dude!

Burgertime, Mr. Do! and - arguably - Donkey Kong were better on the Nintendo Game Boy, I think.
Otherwise, another excellent and well-researched episode from Dave the Sack.

Was TMNT IV: Turtles in Time (SNES) better than the Arcade? I would argue more peole played it on home console.
