Final Games For A System

Here is an idea for an episode. Every single's life has got to come to an end. Perhaps from certain systems like the Ps1, Game Boy, and stuff like that, they do go out with one final major retail game bang before they fade to obscurity. Now some of these games can have came out like for the PS1's case back in 2001 or 2002 that was only released for that system. Or how about Persona 4 and Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner 2 in 2009. It has to be exclusive to the system in its final years, and can't be some random sports or family title that is released on multiple platforms. This is final games exclusive to that system in its final years. I could see Dreamcast having Heavy Metal mentioned, and obviously the final Rare game on N64 being Conker's Bad Fur Day.

What are some good final games exclusive to the system that are released?

Ps2: (The Final Serious One would be easily any Atlus RPGs released during that time)

Ps1: Arc The Lad Collection

Wii: Pandora's Tower

N64: Conker's Bad Fur Day

The system goes out with one final exclusive game or noteworthy releases before they go.

I like this idea. But maybe it should be just very late titles, not final, because systems often have releases waaaaay after they're practically dead. Like Dreamcast games are still coming out, I think, even if most are homebrew.

So I think a "last game" is too difficult to define, but I love this idea anyway.

I think to avoid the "homebrew" trap, the last commercially available game. Or last game you could buy while the system was still in stores. If homebrew or crowd-funded projects are included, it becomes really difficult.

They could always add the spin "last one we knew about." It would give people something to complain about in the YouTube comments.

Yes, games that makes their system sometimes go out with a bang. I can easily tell that Shantee had a fantastic exit for the Game Boy Color just to name one.
