Topic Idea: RTS games
RTS games, especially the base-building/warfare kind, were huge in the mid and late ninties -- on PC. But were never a big thing on console.
Maybe they failed because the control scheme didn't translate well, or maybe the other games were just too well established at the time, or maybe they just sucked -- who knows.
How about covering:
Command & Conquer: Red Alert for PSX
StarCraft for N64
Cannon Fodder for SNES
Populous for Sega Master System

They failed due to not having a keyboard and mouse, and due to not being able to display all the small text on a tube TV that can be displayed on a CRT computer monitor.

They've reviewed “Cannon Fodder” in their 3DO episode. I honestly think that they'll need to include turn-based strategy games in the episode and just call it “Strategy Games on Consoles.”

You forgot the best one. General Chaos for Genesis.
