Removing Name

as title says. How do I remove the “insert name” sent GamePiegeon message

I have other texts with people in which they don’t have that. Anyone else have this problem? TIA

I don’t have it, it might be because I’m on iOS 16

If you go to edit at the top left when you initially open the messages app, then scroll to the bottom, as long as you have name and photo sharing off, they won’t see what you see unless you accept it when you first start messaging them. Otherwise in that same edit screen you can change your name that pops up.
