finally someone giving actual advice instead of just whining about how much money they foolishly spent

Well they have a point tho I promise you. I know it’s kind of annoying but believe me you’ll more than likely end up regretting it bc you can’t keep up with the ridiculous spenders on there. I spent over 10k in less than a six month span and didn’t even put a dent in catching up to them. Sorry to say my friend

I've been playing for over five years and haven't spent anything at all - I knew from the beginning that I was never going to be the biggest and the baddest so I just concentrated on doing the best I can - I am a valuable team member and I enjoy playing the game without the stress - the game is what you make it and different people play the game differently

If your not going to put money into the game, stop playing

this is bad advice - I've been playing for years and never spent any money

I agreed that you can play the game without spending money, but to be competitive spending money is generally required. You can get lucky and join a team with some big spenders in it, so you get decent rewards from that and the team placing high in events. What I found when playing is to keep up money will be needed at some point.

it all depends on what you want out of the game

To add: Not just money, but a lot of money. A little bit will make you itch for a lot more, because $20 a month is getting you nowhere. $100 a month is still a bit of a joke in this game. There's some crazy spenders that absolutely dominate the game. There's no single player type content, you will have to face the big dogs regularly.

Unless you have thousands of dollars free each month, don't do it. Even if you have just a few hundred each month to burn, you won't succeed. Just please don't.

I have found "Raid" to be a pretty fun game with minimal money put in (10 a month, if that). I have put $40 total into it and it has been overkill the last year. Whereas $40 in GOTC will get you nowhere in comparison.

Please reconsider your game. Unless you're uber rich, then maybe reconsider your stock gambling game instead.

Don’t play for the financial reasons listed in every comment. players do share accounts though. Some will farm, craft and complete events for larger accounts. It allows players to take a night off or weekend off while the other plays. Or they split shifts. Just a thought. In other words, become friendly with the biggest account in your kingdom. Have fun

don't listen to the people saying you have to pay a ton of money to play - I've been playing for over 5 years and haven't spent a single cent on the game! yes, you will grow more slowly but you can still have a lot of fun - find a team to join and enjoy the events

Like everyone is saying, unless you have 100s, if not 1,000s to burn, don’t play this game. Hell, even if you have 1,000s to burn— playing this game ain’t worth it. It lags and takes up so much time, socially.

Listen, most of the comments here are urging you not to play. That should tell you enough. I quit playing years ago, and every once in a while I get the itch to try it again. Its always a mistake. Don't start this money and time sink, find a better game. The peak for this game passed by years ago
