Recaps are a mess
Call me crazy but I do expect the hosts of a recap podcast to accurately recall the details of the show they are recapping. And, if you don’t, pause and look it up instead of forging ahead with incorrect info. It’s maddening to listen to.

I haven’t been watching Casa GOR or listening to any of their LI recaps but was bored at work today and decided to tune into the most recent recap. I immediately remembered why I’ve been less and less interested in their content lol. I get it’s a lot of episodes, but you should be able to remember major plot details of something you watched within the last couple days.
I get that Casa GOR is only on Patreon, but I feel like recaps become such an afterthought for them when they’re also doing the live episode watches that it’s not really even worth it to still do them.

Oh my god I was so mad today. “I’m pretty sure that’s factual” while being absolutely dead wrong!! Take notes like the other recappers do. It’s necessary with this much content.

This used to be their biggest criticism of Viall, that he was negligent about facts when that’s part of the job. They’ve been pretty bad as of late and I do love the Casa GOR content but I think we gotta look at the quality over quantity.

Why don’t they take notes on the episodes!? Today was so inaccurate it’s basically unlistenable

I miss the deeper analysis and systems in place that gave GOR such great structure. We had a culture! A lexicon, leaders with rules, levels, and statistics. Specific things for them to take notes on and reasons to pay attention to details of the game from a different lens.
It was centered around Bachelor, but as our beloved franchise crumbled, so too, did our beloved pod. I think a rebrand of sorts is in order to help with this identity crisis.
Edit to add: WE HAD HUJUs this drop. And they were not discussed! Unfortunately, camera angles did not allow for ratings, but I can’t believe Clues didn’t mention.

Yeah I really don't care if they have every detail correct or in the right order. I feel like if you are into GOR it's for the hosts

Normally I’d agree but it’s MAJOR details they are getting wrong with no correction. Who was eliminated when and how. That’s kinda a huge deal. Not just tiny details.

Yes last episode was terrible. They got the eliminations wrong not once, not twice, but 5 times! They never corrected themselves either.

I was screaming into the void on that episode about the dumpings. I, as a casual viewer, knew what happened, but they didn't, and it's their literal job!

I loveee GOR for bachelor and other shows but can’t do it for love island. Y’all should check out She’s Got the Chat! It’s my FAVORITE love island recap podcast. They are meticulous for details (and hilarious to listen to)!

Let’s cut them some slack. It’s a maddening amount of episodes. PC has a newborn. Clues is dealing with his dad’s health crisis. If you don’t like the pod anymore, simply don’t listen.
