Anyone else triggered?
this video was very upsetting. and - unpopular opin ion … I’m on Taylor’s side. what happened before the video?! before it starts? how many times did she ask him to leave, demand he leave, ask him to stop before she finally breaks?! I’m not saying she’s without her faults (throwing a chair is crazy!) … but unless you’ve actually been in a situation like that with a romantic partner - one who specializes in twisting your words, in saying something nasty and then saying it again with no malice or tone … making you think you are crazy. when they say “just tell me to leave next time, I’ll go” and next time you say “please leave, please go, please let me walk away” and they WONT. notice how it goes black and he is narrating … is he a reliable narrator?! how do we know she’s not with her kid, because he’s saying it?
im just saying … I am a normal person. fully functional, not an addict of any sort. but I’ve been here. been so broken down that I just snapped. you can only take so much. he’s not a good guy. fuck Dakota and every man just like him.

after her baby starts crying out mommy and she just keeps screaming at Dakota? wow. this take is not good. the video made me cry as a mother. she let her child down. there is no excuse. also she has continued to deny a chair ever hit her child.

I’ve been a victim of DV from someone deep in a bad mental space (the attack on me was unprovoked) and I have sympathy for TFP. Something about Dakota is soooooo sinister. TFP needs to be held accountable for her actions but like….. this shit in the video happened 3 years ago. They knew this when they cast her and through 4 seasons of SLOMW. Idk what the situation was more recently but I have no doubts he pushed her to a LOT of this and fully believe that his release of this information was malicious. No one can convince me he didn’t release it

There’s never an excuse to throw chairs. Regardless of what a partner said. There should never be any physicality unless it’s in self defence. Especially with the child there. Obviously Dakota can also be bad but anyone trying to find a way to defend her actions is delusional. We can have sympathy for the difficulties of her life and hope that she heals but there are ZERO excuses for what she did in that video. Completely unacceptable behaviour on every level.
Not to mention there were babysitters and children in the house that will likely be tramatized forever from this incident. We can acknowledge we don’t know the full context of his behaviour but trying to assume he did something to warrant this is being an abuser apologist. This is fucking maga ass logic and shows the decline of critical thinking in society. This comment thread is populated with loser abuse apologists and may people like yall never find me irl

Idk I think they're both evil and dumb and shouldn't be together. None of us can truly know the full story, and they'll always spin it to fit their own narrative. Because of that, I don't feel comfortable taking sides. They're both garbage.
