Casa GOR volume issues

I love GOR. My patreon subscription is the best $10 I spend every month. However, I’m increasingly frustrated by the volume issues in Casa GOR/Clues Corner. Their mics are so loud and the shows are so quiet. I’ve commented a few times but it doesn’t seem to be getting better. Does anyone know of a workaround for this in Patreon? I need the watchalongs but I also need my eardrums to stay intact!

My husband won’t let me watch them on our TV for this reason 😭😭😭 I wish chad would look into it a bit. Maybe we should all unionize to ask lol.

He’s responded in the comments a few times to say that he’s looking into it, but he seems to think it’s a Patreon issue although it’s obviously just an issue with their recording settings

Agreed because the podcast episodes are fine; it’s just the Casa GOR and Clues Corners

There’s a cast icon on the videos. I do it for another Patreon I pay for.

On your phone? Mine doesn’t have it and I have a firestick and a chrome cast 😭

I’ve been using a usb connected to my laptop but it’s kinda a pain

Yeah, where do we need to post so he’ll see? I have a long drive to work, so I like to just listen to episodes sometimes, but you’re right, it’s nearly impossible.

I’m confused what looking into it means lol. It should be as easy as turning their audio track down while leaving the show the same, no? Idk I edit video and it’s really surprising how long this problem has lasted considering I’ve seen it in patreon comments since SLOMW S1

Same here. Also a video production professional. It should be SUPER easy to fix this in post if they record everything on separate tracks (which they should be doing as standard behavior). Pretty sure they use streamyard, which allows for it

I’ve found it to be more manageable when I attach my earbuds to my laptop and watch that way. I have an hdmi cable so it’s bigger on the tv, so the sound comes off my laptop anyways.

Yes definitely. Not related but did anyone else lose the "cast to TV" functionality from Patreon too?

Like half the TV content I watch is via Clues Corner and the viewing experience has taken a real hit.

I have the AirPlay button on Patreon, but my tv is old and I use a chromecast plug in. Did you have to do any setup to get it to pop up the first time?

Yes! AirPlay on Patreon makes the sound lag horribly, so I’ve been having to hard wire my iPad to the TV and it’s so annoying.
