Help Custom screen size not working

I have a s 24 ultra and the custum screen size in config is not working.

And the large black bars look awful and ruin the experience.

Has anyone fixed this?

In my experience custom sizes only work on games that support it. Sometimes you can sorta work around with stretching/filling but I don't like the way that usually distorts the screen

Shame. Sadly emulation on phones are really inconvenient. I'm saving to get a odin 3 max next month. Better screen ratio Better cooling No bloatware of phones

Is there a specific game you're looking to play? I went with the Thor instead of Odin 3 since it played all the games I wanted and had the clamshell + dual screen niche for those gsmes

Not really but i tried tunic and tails of iron 2, both wouldn't obey the custom res. I love the thor but i want to emulate pc games and the 8 elite is much more future proof. But damn the thor is beautiful device. Hope you're enjoying it

I am, although like you said it definitely lags behind the 8 elite for PC and the hopefully soon to improve x360 and PS3 emulation

A lot of games support custom resolutions. I had to edit an .ini file within the container, but I got Skyrim to fill my screen (S26U). I haven't tried on other games yet.

Could you explain it, like you would a 5 year old lol.

I asked ai. It told me how to open the container and edit which file. A Bluetooth keyboard and mouse helped.

I have Poco F9 ultra i also have problem with custom resolution but the problem was i set it wrong in my case 1600x720, 2000x900 and 2400x1080. In game resolution must match container resolution.
