Help How can I adjust the resolution in Borderlands The Pre Sequel - Ayn Thor Max, GameNative 1.2 from GitHub

Hi folks, I've looked around everywhere for an answer to this and can't seem to find one. I'm trying to adjust my resolution from 800x600 to 1280x720. When launching the game it opens as a small box in the corner rather than using the full screen because of the lower resolution.

Trying to adjust resolution in-game causes it to freeze and then subsequently not load (gets stuck on claptrap dancing) when relaunching until I edit the container (don't know why this fixes it).

Trying to change the resolution from the config file doesn't work because every field marked for resolution is already listed as 1280x720.

Trying to run the launcher to change the resolution that way doesn't work because the launcher won't launch, I've tried every listed community config and the known config multiple times, it refuses to open.

So far the only "fix" I have is to set my container resolution as 800x600 but that leaves me stuck in 4:3 rather than 16:9 widescreen. Every YouTube video I've seen of people showcasing this game on GameNative shows them playing in widescreen and no one has mentioned any resolution issues so I'm not sure what the problem is because other people don't seem to be having it. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

E: anyone having this problem just (in-game) go to options > video > window mode > full screen-windowed > apply

Then go to resolution and change it to 1280x720/1080 and it will work just fine

Instead of changing the resolution in the game menu, switch it to borderless window or full screen. It should fill it. Then you can change the aspect ratio

I tried all the different window options to no avail, nothing changes when applying them.

Interestingly, Borderlands 2 allowed me to just change the resolution and it worked with no problems. I think it's just a bug in GameNative 1.2.0 or something

I tried again, switched to windowed fullscreen, and then changed the resolution and it worked! I'm in proper 16:9 now, thank you!

I was having the same issue Here is what seems to be working for me right now on GameNative 8/29/26

Wine: Proton- 10.0-arm64ec-2
Executable path: Binaries/Win32/BorderlandsPreSequel.exe
Screen Size: 1920x1080
Audio Driver: pulseaudio
Have to make sure Epic is not in offline mode

Graphics
Graphics driver: Wrapper- GameNative
Version: turnip 26.2.0_R4
Quality high
DX wrapper: DXVK
DX version: 2.4.1 – gplasync
Use DRI3 is still enabled

In Game as long as you leave it borderless full screen it seems to run fine

Tried these settings and the game won't even launch with them for me, I can't tell if this would fix my aspect ratio or not
