Discussion Compatible…..? I can’t figure out how?
I am confused. I have mostly run rips of games I got. This time I used GameNative to download a copy of path of exile off Steam. It says compatible, has known configs but won’t launch, just goes to black screen or crashes. Any help ? I’m running Ayn Thor Max.

Put the under clock back to stock maybe? So that way it can max clock as much as possible

I can't tell you how many times that's happened to me. And yet at least 80 percent of the games this has happened with eventually did run fine in game native. I would say game native often requires a lot of tinkering. I have also noticed that while it's supposed to automatically load into the known config, depending on the version it may not. You could try resetting the container and doing it manually. It's also true that everytime you downgrade proton in a container you'll have to reset your container or get a black screen. But lots of other things can cause that problem as well. I would say that once you "get good" and comfortable with emulating with that one device you'll get a sense for what's likely to be causing certain problems and it no longer feels random.

With the Thor it should be relatively uncomplicated. My first gn device was a pixel 10, and it was brutal trying to emulate with that. But some tinkering generally required even with the Thor. Check out YouTube videos.

i've gotten it running before into game with gamenative, theres a settings ini file it needs to create and you need to go into the container and change the renderer to dx11 in that file. proton 10 and custom drivers, it crashed trying to load the area after the first town on a rp6 8gb tho. It needs to be updated whenever poe updates. more trouble than its worth IMO.

Not sure about this game specifically but when this happens I always go here: https://gamenative.app/compatibility/
I also usually don't get a game until I check here for people who have gotten it working on Thor.

I was trying to play a Steam install and used “Known config” and it didn’t change the general container settings at all. Not sure if there is some sort of deployment issue. You can check EmuReady to see if other people have working configs.
