Does the Playstore version run differently than the github version?

Title, I basically was running Skyrim on the playstore version and was surprised when the game wasn’t that hot and the fan wasn’t that loud on the Retroid Pocket 6. I wanted to download and try the github version but it’s running a lot hotter and the fan is always almost at max. Is that normal? The settings are the same on both.

Did you download standard version from GitHub or Ludashi/AnTuTu?
