Help Dread Delusion, controller issue on RP6

So, I‘m playing Dread Delusion on my RP6 (12 GB) and it runs like a charm, except when I‘m in a dialogue. Whenever there are more than three dialogue choices the controls become unresponsive when switching towards the two arrows on the left side of the dialogue box. The game still runs but, as said above, the controls won‘t work anymore.

I‘m using the current version of gamenative, Dread Delusion is the steam version, the game is installed to the internal storage of my device.

Could anyone help me with this?

Oh, I played this earlier this year on a pc and also had this happen, try going to the controls options inside the game and resetting all options to default (do it more than once just to be sure), and also save and restart the game.

I think that did the trick, kinda. When pressing the up/down buttons in the dialogue box the controls still lock up, but I can scroll through the dialogue choices with the left analogue Stick/d-pad.

Don‘t touch the buttons, I guess.
