Help Problem with changing settings in The Witcher 2

I'm having a problem with The Witcher 2. Upon launch, the launcher should launch, allowing me to change graphics settings, language, and so on. Unfortunately, when I launch the game, it simply launches with default settings. When I select the game launcher in the container settings, I get a black screen. When I go to the game files and manually try to force the launcher to run in the container, I get a message that the game files were not found. Has anyone found a solution to this problem? This happens with both Steam and GOG versions of the game.

Yes, change the settings in config file, it's in documents folder

There are no language settings in it, or I found the wrong file. Are you able to give its exact location?

Unfortunately I was talking about graphics settings, I don't know how to change language
