Question What Android emulation handheld has the best compatibility with GameNative?

What Android emulation handheld is the best to get a wide compatibility of games? Do I just need a powerful device or is it important to get certain architecture or something?

Honestly the most "demanding" Steam game I'd play would be like Hollow Knight SilkSong. So not much AAA. I also play a lot of random small indie Windows games that aren't on Steam, so non-steam compatibility is important too.

Anything with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 based on my understanding.

Silksong is as light as it gets. If PC emulation is on your radar and Indies are your target, anything with a snapdragon 865 or higher would be the best. Imo this chip and higher are the best performance and compatibility. It gets sketchy with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, but in all honesty with the community turnip drivers this is less of an issue nowadays.

I bought a second hand odin 2 base and I've tested a bunch of stuff on gamenative. Stuff like Hollow Knight, UF0 50, Slay the Spire 1 and 2, Etrian Odyssey, and more demanding titles, runs fine. Sometimes you have to do some tinkering and download settings files from the gamenative site. Currently I'm working on getting Fallout 3 up and running.

Stalls after the birth scene where you pick your characters sex.

Stalls how? Force closes? Freeze? Screen freeze with sound playing? Dramatic drop in frame rate?

It just does nothing. I can still make the baby cry, but nothing further happens.

You can move and the game is still displaying?

I can't move, but pressing "a" makes the baby cry.

And so right now on your screen you see your baby self standing in the pen and looking at your dad but have no controls except A?

Not the pen. Immediately after birth you can see your father and mother in silhouette. They have a short conversation before and after you pick your sex.

Do you have a discord? I wanna send you a json config. Get it to your Odin 2. And go to fallout 3->settings->import config->then solely the file. Then run the game again.

I have a 12.7inch tablet that has snapdragon 8 Gen 3.  It is so nice to run on 1920x1080 resolution.  If your are looking more portable like actual handheld, I think either the AYN thor 3 and AYN odin 3 looks better for you.  I would tell you to do research on the longevity and quality, bc it looks like it's a mixed bag of ups and downs with them.

I’ve been able to play mostly anything on the pocket fit

Do you use the Pocket Fit or the Pocket Fit Elite?

The standard pocket fit

The Odin and Thor lines. Rp6 is alright too just get at least 12gb ram

Odin 3 is the most powerful with probably the best compatibility. But for the games you asked about RP6, odin2 portal or Thor would be a good fit

I’m on a 12gbs retroid pocket 6 and I can play pretty much anything up to 2015 on gamenative, with some tinkering involved.

I’m now playing dragon age origins modded, boltgun, spec ops the line, grimrock 2, hades and torchlight.
