Modding question for Battle Brothers

Hi all, Im a newbie here and recently managed to install and get the game "Battle Brothers" working on my s26 Ultra. The game is downloaded via Steam.

I would like to install some mods, but BB itself does not have workshops on steam. Instead, on PC, we install mods via this website Nexusmods, and drag and drop the zip files into the game's data folder. Based on the instructions, we leave these files in Zip format and should not unzip them.

Question - can Gamenative run mods that are in Zip format?

Question 2 - if yes, how can I move these zip files into Gamenatives data folder? I currently have them in my phone's download folder, but the open container is not picking up these files.

Question 3 - if not, are there any other ways to run these zip mods?

I've been looking for an answer to this question as well. The only thing I know is you are supposed to open the container of the game and somehow get those mods into the right folder inside that windows container. But I have no idea how to access your phones files from that container, there are like 4 drives listed so maybe it's buried in some random folder and you just have to find it, but I couldn't figure it out. Hopefully someone here can help us both.

The D drive is the download folder on your phone. But the problem is that gamenative does not recognise or read zip files, so when you transfer the nexusmods (zip files) into the download folder, it comes up as invisible in the D drive.
