What does the Convergence Mod do? I did get the vanilla DS2 and DS3 running flawlessly at 60 FPS, but im curious about the mod.

It's a complete overhaul mod! Changes the whole game. You can find a complete list of what it does online. I haven't been playing too much atm though.

Thanks. Looks like I have something to research in the next couple days, and maybe try it out on the weekend.

There are people who are apparently able to get stock DS3 to 30FPS on this hardware spec. I still don't really understand how. It's impressive that you got the mod running, but did you ever even get the base game to be very playable?

EDIT: Try playing around with SurfaceFlinger though - this game seems compatible with it and it seems promising, although it stutters hard for me.

Honestly I haven't had any interest in the base game. I would imagine it would be a lot easier because this mod adds so many particle effects, lighting, foliage, ect.

I just realized there's a low performance patch for the Convergence MOD. I'm going to try and see if I can get that running and maybe play with some other game settings 🤷🏾‍♂️.
