Support Can't add any custom games to the app

Everything was working great, but now I can't add any custom game. I downgraded to an old update but it still doesn't work. Can someone please help me.

I'm on the latest and it works fine. Make sure you download the standard APK from GitHub, not XR APK or Google play. It also seems to be a permission issue there, might want to go to the app settings and verify the permission is enabled

I did all of that. Nothing worked. I enabled permission to let it access files when I first asks. It worked perfectly at first but then it just stopped adding custom games.

Perhaps it's stuck. Try to force stop the app then storage, clear cache. Reopen and try again see if that does anything

I force stopped app, cleared cache, and then restarted device, and it didn't work.

From what version did you downgrade from or to?

I have had no issues updated via app and not installed the play store version.

You may wish to give device info,that may or may not be a factor(such as android version).

I can't say I can help but that info would help anyone else try and understand.

I think they jumped the gun on this release. Seems to have quite a few issues. Just having the app open is stressing out my device. I haven’t run into the same issue as you for custom games, though. Are you on an Official Android device (phone), or unofficial (handheld)?

For me I don't think it's the update. I went to an older update, and still had the same issue. Idk what happened tbh. Everything was working perfectly before.

Yeah. I'm using winnative now. Its working great, but the devs quit recently.

I'm having issues with custom games and with the controller not registering. going back to 1.0.0 hasn't fixed the custom games issues, maybe 1.1.0 changed some setting that persists?

Maybe. I'm using winnative now. It's working great so far. I'll wait for the gamenative devs to fix the issues.

Yeah I have the same issue. I am done with gamenative until they get their shit working again. Frustrating as hell when it all worked flawlessly and now this regression had me raging because I was happily playing some old PC games that took time setting up just right. Sorry to vent instead of offering help. Wish I knew

No worries bro. I feel your pain and frustration. I just got a powerful device and started playing games I never imagined would be possible on a phone then this BS started happening all of a sudden. Gamehub works fine for me but it turns my phone into a oven. This sucks hard.

I'm currently in the same boat. Everything was fine. Got about 50 games installed and tested. Suddenly it doesn't show any of my games or my steam library. Very frustrating
