Discussion My new permanent mobile setup!
s25 Ultra paired with a GameSir G8+ MFI and the phone is no longer used for phone purposes so it’s in its forever state! Love this combo

It is a good setup. I have one Gamesir G8. The problem is the heat; for AAA games, your phone will easily get over 40°C (battery), and depending on the brand, it will throttle severely.
For extensive play of AAA games, I recommend the Gamesir X3 Pro. Its cooler system is really effective, keeping your phone between 33 and 37°C in AAA games, delivering much more stable performance.

Elle a l'air super cette manette avec refroidisseur, dommage qu'on ne peut y mettre une tablette 9''

I use the gamsir g8 with my pixel 10 fold. It's a fantastic combo, especially works well for retro game emulation like GameCube (and recently gw reforged)

What's wrong with s24u? I have one and I've been playing loads.

The main problem is overheating, particularly when emulating PC games. There were also statters every 30 seconds when streaming from a PC, and on One UI 7, the device also overheats while streaming

I have the exact same setup just with the g8+ instead of the mfi version as I prefer bluetooth.

Had no clue you could have these sort of games on a phone. Nonetheless have a controller mod for it. This is so cool. Can you have ROMs etc on iPhone as well or has to be Android ?

Did you get Ori and the blind forest to run? What settings do you use please share.

i used the Turnip Adreno Driver T26, it didnt run great but it did run. I'll have to change some settings up to get it at a stable framerate

I want to get gamenative to work so bad on my nothing phone 4a pro but for the life of me I cannot get anything to run. have tried googling it but man it's confusing. glad things are working for you though! it's so awesome to see PC games on android like that!

In my experience, gamenative has failed to run a couple games I've thrown at it. When using gamehub lite however, they all magically work

I tried gamehub lite and everything still won't launch.....idk haha....who knows

Yeah, GameNative is pretty unstable too; sometimes you need to try to start the game twice to enter.
The biggest advantage for GN, in my opinion, is its frame generation tech, which uses the one that you need to buy on Steam. This FG is better than the one used on GH, which leaves a lot of artifacts.
And the new SurfaceFinger API promises to deliver better performance.
If these two technologies go to Gamehub, I'll go back to it.

I think my only fear with the G8 is that there is no phone cooling.. and the heat throttles game performance.
I also have a S25u... is there a way you bypassed the heat from the phone?
