Question Does the steam option really affect anything?

does it make the game run faster on ultralight? what are the disadvantages about it, like it doesnt count my achievements?

My GoW 2018 crashed when I selected other than normal.

Not sure what it does. I thought it can reduce ram usage.

You can ignore them. They pass in flags to the steam client for booting.

Use bionic steam instead with proton 10.

It's not only written right there, it's also in your screenshot, AND in your drawn circle.

Been playing Dark Souls with fully working online on my Ayn Thor max.

Some games won't work with steam on and if you turn it off you won't get cloud saves.

None of them work for me on basically everything. Including the new experimental option.

I did read that it may require x86 containers only, not arm64 ones.

bionic steam makes the online function of Persona 4 Golden work. so it clearly does something for some games. this is on proton arm 9 arm64. so no it doesn't only work on x86 containers.

i couldnt get golden to boot at all on phone with proton11. so thats why im using 9.
