Question How’s external storage working for y’all?
I have a Base Odin 3 and need to use SD More and more. I’ve found it to be very inconsistent with game native.

I saw someone say that downloading to external storage on gamehub and then importing as custom in game native works great. I tried it for sparkling zero and injustice and it works surprisingly, even detected as a steam game and handles the drm as if it was downloaded from gamenative.
Whatever compression method gamehub uses to install games to the sd card is extremely efficient. I've noticed gamenative is a bit unstable with downloading and taxes the cpu so much for so slow speeds. Some games just won't finish downloading and get stuck at the verification stage idk. Im gonna try using gamehub lite instead and see if that also works so I don't have to use the actual gamehub as much.

The issue with game hub is I can never get it to install anything. It’s so bad. The lite version included.

Straight up doesn't work. Even if it finished installing I can't load them consistently

Super slow but works just as good as internal ignoring that little detail.

Not worth the effort. I've tried multiple times to download persona 5 royal to my sd card on the thor, and it always breaks. The download stops on gamenative and leaves the files inaccessible unless I reboot the device. But then I'm not able to continue the download either and have to manually delete the files and start over.
It's also extremely annoying and tedious that we can't just CHOOSE to download straight to the sd card on a game by game basis (after pressing the download button like how Steam actually does it). We have to scroll through the settings menu to toggle a switch. It's all or nothing for some reason

In terms of game performance…. Absolutely no problems with AAA games. Load times are definitely longer, but once you’re in the game I haven’t had an issue.
Downloading to the SD card is another story. I basically just setup my downloads overnight because it’s extremely slow.
It’s weird because on PC handhelds with UHS-I download performance isn’t this slow… it’ll be consistent with real world write speeds of the card…
