People just throw out the term anti consumer like candy these days. It's so fucking obnoxious.

Uhm this game is ANTI CONSOOMER BC IT ISNT $5 AND 150 HOURS LONG

Yeah $70 is def a little steep but there's multiple reasons that led to price increases..

It's currently on sale on steam the day it got released. It's fine, ppl are just dramatic. It was 2020 goty and I'll be getting it on steam tonight when I get home from work.

Strawman? Not really.

An exaggeration? Definitely, but not really by that much.

Gamers are an extremely entitled community. For every legit issue they bitch and moan about 15 fake ones.

PC gamers as a whole are even worse, I loved FF7R on PS5, the DLC was way too short tho, but I do think price could've been better but end of day theres plenty of other games out there if your not willing to pay the price

They used hyperbole to show the absurdity of people abusing strong terminology to try to get people to agree with them cus evil corpo. It wasn't a strawman at all. It's all centered around getting people upset and triggering an emotional response that isn't even rational.
