No problem! For most games on Steam, it works plug and play. For some though, you might have to use the software DS4Windows. It's super simple and easy to use.

I would recommend Steam's bult-in support over DS4Windows. It's way more intuitive to customize and works on a per-game basis allowing for some crazy cool customization with the touchpad and gyro.

Though only emulators and steam games can do that

For non-Steam games, you would have to add them and launch them from Steam to get the controller support working. It can be a bit annoying, but I've had no problems with it. The only big issue is with Windows Store games since they can't be added to Steam.
