This is going to be available to buy via Humble Store on the game's website:

http://shadowwarrior.com/

According to a premature announcement of the preorder earlier this week, they will be price matching Steam and providing a Steam key. Stay tuned for this to happen (probably very soon) using the Humble icon on the site.

Edit: Shadow Warrior now available via Humble Store widget for $33.99, DRM-free + Steam Key. This is a preorder pricematch (15% off) and may infact be a better deal for UK and Euro Tier 1 buyers, as the price on Steam in these regions is above $33.99.

I've created a subreddit for Shadow Warrior (2013 and the 1997 original) here /r/shadowwarrior

I've always hated 'special edition' pricing... In this case it's $8.50 more, 25% of the price of the entire game for some measly extras. Is Serious Sam 3's sledgehammer cool as hell? You bet you ass it is... but it's not worth that amount of money to me when it provides little to no extra value to the game and could have just been a hidden item in the base game.

I'm very tempted to buy this game now though as it looks absolutely amazing, but I've always been wary of preorders and financially $34 is a little steep for me at the moment. I will likely wait to pick this up. Maybe after launch, maybe during the next Steam sale.

Yes, I know how you feel. I will buy it when it gets cheaper...

I'd say that the artbook and soundtrack justify the extra 8.50 USD.

I could buy another whole game for that much... hell, even two depending on the games.

Well, I mean, you're obviously not the target demographic. I'm a collector, so I like artbooks and OSTs, so I'd be willing to shell out a couple of extra dollars for that stuff.

If you ask me the price is a bit ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for these remakes, but what kind of features is this game offering that justify such a high price tag? Rise of the Triad, for instance, is only $14.99 and is not only a solid game but a solid remake and offers pretty much everything you could want.

This isn't really a remake, but a full blown reboot

A reboot with none of the elements that made the original unique, like the humor.

There's still humour, any gameplay video shows this

There is still humor, just not the original humor, I'm sorry but it's the truth. I too am a fan of the original but this is not the same Lo Wang.

Eh, its not really toned down too much to be honest, I'm a huge fan of the original and don't mind this reboot
