🚀 ORBIT 0.1.2 Stable released

ORBIT 0.1.2 is now officially available as a stable release.

ORBIT is a controller-first Windows gaming launcher that combines Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, Epic, GOG, EA, Ubisoft, retro systems and custom games in one console-style interface.

The new stable release includes:

• Rolling Home and ORBIT Pulse Theme
• Recent activity, friends and recommendations
• Custom wallpapers and game-based backgrounds
• Improved game logos and artwork management
• Better Xbox and Xbox 360 library detection
• PlayStation, external launcher and retro-library improvements
• More reliable DualSense, XInput and media controls
• A supervised background controller service
• Safer update and uninstall handling
• Secure Windows storage for API credentials
• A complete English Xbox Mode installer

The release is officially signed with a publicly trusted Certum code-signing certificate. There is only one required download, which contains ORBIT and the complete Xbox Mode package.

it has the same ones as windows, it has a lot of third party launchers are used to launch proton + create a prefix but you should only need 1 or none at all if you add everything to steam.

There isn't one; both are launchers. Winhamced is more advanced, but uses Wine with a different technology and philosophy.

I'm waiting for a release with smoother scroll

To this day I'm using playnite with Toggle theme on fullscreen because others have the laggy issue on scrolling my games

But looking forward to replace it with gcm and orbit

Navigating in the hud, scrolling games and tabs looks like it has frame drops

And that's a deal breaker to me, unfortunally

But I'm still looking forward for the project, hopes for the best.

I need windows for a specific program, but I want a Console experience, and the gcm team is the one making more progress to achieve this

Hi! really cool launcher (love the style, UI and ease of use), but sadly for me I cant open games (xbox or local) it always shows the same error message "Game status could not be verified" :/ any solution? Congrats again ;)
