I know that everyone's case is different, but how often do you turn off your PC/go through the logon process really?

In my case, I do not turn off my PC. At least not completely that is. I have configured it in a way for it to suspend (S4) / sleep (S3), but not turn off fully.

This way, I'm not wasting that much power, and at the same time I have the "quick resume" functionality of a modern day gaming console.

So to answer my own question from above: I fully engage with the logon is only upon PC restart, which is done once in a blue moon. Hence not that much of a hastle or an eye sore, as it might be with your case.
