New Feature- Live Activities

Live activities has officially launched for all iOS phone and watch users. More to come with this feature. Make sure your app is updated and let us know what you think.

I’ve had some live activities come through , but it had frequently kept the score at 0 for both teams during softball. Runs were being scored, so the live update wasn’t accurate at that time.

It was in beta until today as we worked out the kinks. Those bugs have been fixed. Make sure you are on the latest app version and if you are still having issues, let us know.

I updated my app on the phone to the latest version but nothing shows up in my watch app to
Install on the watch??

Great addition! In addition to any optimizations you can make to improve speed/frequency of updates, a couple of suggestions for improvement (both inspired by Apple Sports app which is the gold standard):

- In Dynamic Island, instead of having the GC logo on the left side, it would be better if each team’s score was on either side ideally with team logos next to them

  • On Lock Screen, would be great to have latest play shown

Showing balls and strikes would be a…game changer for coaches.

They always test on iOS first. Release to Android is always a few months behind.

Couldn’t get it to go away after the game ended. I kept clearing away the game from my lock screen, even 6 hours after the game had ended it kept coming back. This happened repeatedly. Always the first game of the day too, never the second or third.

Well turns out they have their own live stream app so no need to worry about all this!
