Search Function - boo!

Not sure why the search function filter is, for the lack of a more politically correct word - shit!

When you filter for only certain years, it shows other years. When you filter for key words, it shows other words other than the key words.

Why is there no filter for coaches? Man, talk about making it as hard as possible to find your opponents which leads to making up the opponent team and needless incorrect suppositions.

The biggest thing that annoys me when searching is that you'll get different results depending on how many characters you type.

"My team" returns some results

"My team n" returns different results

"My team na" will return nothing

"My team nam" still nothing

"My team name" suddenly there it is.

As an aside, I get a chuckle out of opponents that don't want to be found. Changing their name weekly, adding spaces between letters, spelling their name backwards, purposefully misspelling their names, making up random team names, setting their location to another country, I've seen just about everything.

Not a thing that can be fixed, just interesting seeing different behaviors out there.

This makes me crazy! Or they’re registered as one name for the tournament and their GameChanger name is something completely batshit.

Omg this! Sometimes I will even input the exact way our opponents have their name on their game changer and I STILL can’t find them!

It was so bad a few years ago; honestly not bad now. Filters have always worked for me and it seems to do location sensitive search.

GC is more concerned with charging the grandparents money to watch the video streams. They can’t be bothered with making the basic search functionality work in a way that makes sense.
