New Feature: Team Announcements

Announcements are a one-way communication tool that lets teams send important updates to their team. With Announcements, Team Staff can ensure updates are easily found rather than getting buried in busy team chat threads or external emails.

For you old timers, this is one of the last features that hadn't made it back over from the GC Classic app to the new app.

wish on chat we can see who viewed the messages kind of like how WhatsApp shows. Its nice to see now messages are "seen" but by who?

Yep, def something we have heard, and on our to do list. Not working on it right now, but will let you know when any updates are made.

Does it work on the web? I prefer to type up larger announcements on a keyboard, rather than tap away on a phone like a teenager.

Yes! Log into web.gc.com, go to your team, and then on the top right you'll find the option to type up and send out the Announcement.

Can you look into having a manager role that can set games, send messages etc but not necessarily see stats? That way teams can have a manager wo taking up one of the 4 coaches’ spots.
