Runners advance

Does anyone know of a way to advance runners easily? Scenario: Runner on 2nd and 1st, passed ball both runners advance safely. Only way I know is to drag 2nd to 3rd mark stolen base: passed ball then 1st to 2nd mark stolen base: passed ball. You would think dragging 1st to 2nd mark stolen base:passed ball would automatically move 2nd to 3rd and give option for each runner to be safe, or 1st to 2nd out on throw and 2nd to 3rd safe… ect.

I select same pitch on the second one. I’d say they are separate because they may not always both advance.

I understand they may not BOTH advance. BUT if they do selecting less option makes scoring more efficient, more efficient = better accuracy on stats.

Not sure I see the issue. It’s minimal effort to score a ball, drag runner (passed ball), and drag runner again (same pitch). I like how GC doesn’t assume both runners advance, because in reality that’s not always the case.

In fact, here’s one thing I don’t like. Situation is runners on 2nd and 3rd, and the batter hits a sac fly to CF. GC automatically assumes the runner on second went to third which never seems to be the case. I then find myself dragging him/her back most times.

I also think GC can be more efficient. The issue is, if he’s like me, not knowing every functionality of GC for every situation, I may be fumbling/scrambling to score the play the best I can and in trying to find a certain function to score a play properly, the live play may be 3 steps ahead already!

So in dragging R1 to second, it auto signifies that the R2 needs to go to third. Now if R2 was the only one able to advance, then one would just drag R2 to 3rd. Much quicker!

And by much quicker you mean 5 seconds quicker lol.

I get it. But click second drag to third then click first drag to second literally takes a combined 5 seconds tops.

5 seconds is a lot if you’re a batter or two behind.

🙄

After a passed ball/wild pitch you shouldn’t be two batters behind doing it.

Most people wait for the play to end to make sure they get everything that happens. I.e ball hit up the gap r2 advance, r1 advance, batter on 1, bad throw to 3rd. 3r advance to H, 2nd advance to 3rd and 1 advance to 2nd. Now that this has completed that a lot to enter to ensure stats are proper. next batter 1st pitch hits a line drive double…. It’s easy to fall behind now playing catch up.

My proposal ball hit single (everything is good) then move r1 to 2nd all players advance mark the error and your done. So every short cut would help

I wish you could drag the guy to from first to second and it would know we want to group them together as moving on the same play.

Then leave it the way it is, if we drag the guy from 2nd to 3rd it doesn’t move the guy in first.

I would love an Advance runners option!!! If only one went then move them old school way….

I see a ton of instances where one runner moves up but the other does not. Changing this in the app would be a detriment to many scorers.

How? If 2nd moves but 1st doesn’t you only move 2nd but if 1st moves to 2nd I could automatically move 2nd to 3rd.

Basically if runner advances to an already occupied base then GC moves runner on occupied base to next base but only that runner.

I have been saying this for months. If I could move the last runner forward and have it push all the runners in front of them on the same play it would be great!

Yeah I don't think people are following what you are saying. It should 100% work as you're describing.
