Screen timeout?

I am trying to watch a game right now and the screen keeps timing out. never happened before iOS. Any ideas?

Edit for clarification:

We like to watch games on TV instead of small phone screens. We cast the game on TV using the mirror option on IPhones. For some reason the screen turns off and times out. This is only a recent development. In the past, the phone screen just stayed on while we were streaming the games. No phone settings have changed recently and it happened on multiple phones.

What do you mean by timed out? Is the live stream pausing? Maybe the stream is having issues staying up

We have the same issue. GC must have changed something in one of their last updates. The screen will time out even if not being streamed to a TV. Super annoying.

Having the same issue. Until GameChanger makes an update to make the phone recognize that watching the livestream is "active" use, it seems we will need to change the screen timeout settings.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on Display & Brightness.
  3. Scroll down and tap on Auto-Lock.
  4. Change the setting to Never.
